There has been a lot of bitch slapping going on in Pocomoke City since we broke the story that puppet Mayor Mike McDermott was not in compliance with election law & traditions by continuing to keep the name of a dead person as his treasurer. McDermott is showing his colors as a true student of the Boss Hogg form of politics by sicking his lap dog Joe Ablero with sbynews to make a post about how wrong the Burke’s are for even questioning this openly corrupt liar & politician.

5 Months after McDermotts treasurer passed away he finally updates his website after being “outed” by this blog, publicly questioned by the press and his constituents. Another example of Pocomoke political mindset at it’s finest.

The man is a liar and his own father said “…he is not qualified to be elected as dog catcher…” because Mikey only looks out for Mikey.

What did Mike McDermott do when he was exposed (read caught) making a mistake, a big mistake with his campaign?

He did what Boss Hogg told him and ran to Joe Albero begging to write a hit piece about how stupid the Burke’s are. Click here and read it for yourself.

Dalmar Donkey Boy Blogger Joe Ablero featured a picture of Mikey; not his website because a glance at McDumbasses website would verify what we wrote last week was true.

To quote Mikey “The truth is a stranger to Joe Albero & Sbynews...” that is one statement of his we can wholeheartedly agree upon.

Note that the original post we had featured a screen shot taken a few minutes prior to being posted of McDermotts own website that showed in writing the candidate was not in compliance with Maryland election law.

Not the letter or the spirit of the law, c’mon if we gave him a hard time after 5 days or 5 weeks it would not have been fair. Waiting 5-months to publicly name the treasurer of your campaign as a State Delegate while still collecting money, advertised to be sent to a candidates home address, well it just ain’t Kosher to any reasonable person.

Boss Hogg politics rule number 1 is make them force you to comply with the law.

After election fraud scandals and grand jury or States Attorney investigations into the last 4 out of 5 municipal elections in Pocomoke City, Mike McDermott helped ram through a “new law” that legalizes the criminal activities used to maintain control of city hall by stuffing the ballot box.

The Pocomoke way is to shout down anyone who opposes you, to make up outright lies and repeat them to anyone that will listen or to threaten to blackmail anyone that does not publicly agree.

People need to remember that two-years ago Mike McDermott told the mother of Christine Sheddy, the murder victim whose body was recently found in Snow Hill.

Mike had his cop hat on when McDumbass told me that Sheddy had run off to Seattle on a drug binge and he had a warrant issued for her arrest for abandoning her children. McDermott is making Pocomoke shine like a turd in the glare of the national media with that one but he still has a few crack heads that think he stands a chance of being elected in a Tea Party sweep in November…

McDermott is a liar acting like a bully using someone he used to call a “cyberbully” to defend him against the Pocomoke Tattler for merely taking a screen shot of his campaign website then questioning why he was not in compliance with the law after 5-months.

Today McDermott brought his website into compliance after shouting us down with his & Frank White’s (Pocomoke’s former chief of police who only had to do weekends in jail after getting caught for corruption in office) mouthpiece blogger in Salisbury.

That’s how they roll in P-city…

The coffee party movement seems to be picking up steam from people who are not satisfied with what EITHER PARTY is offering the people.

A lot of what they say makes sense, but I am not quite sold on the coffee party. I liked the Tea Party until hearing McDermott rant about freedom after having his jackbooted thugs break into my house, seize my computers, cell phones, digital cameras and “any device capable of connecting to the internet” in an attempt to silence this blog. What a total piece of shit Pocomoke City has for a mayor.

Pocomoke’s Boss Hogg Mayor Mike McDemott is a Tea Party “republican” who believes it’s best to lie and cheat your way into office. Like Mikey telling the mother of murder victim Christine Sheddy “she was a sponge on society who won’t be missed” before he had a warrant issued for her arrest.

Harry Truman used to say “There ain’t a dimes worth of difference between the parties…” and you know in a lot of ways he was right.

The economy is not going to get fixed by polarizing the masses or by giving either party a super majority in both houses. It’s certainly not going to get fixed by sending an asshole like McDermott to the state house when he has not even kept the campaign promise of “open government” in Pocomoke City by webcasting city council meetings.

The coffee party certainly can’t be any worse than Pocomoke City’s election stealing Boss Hogg form of self dealing and self serving government.

The town has been abuzz for the last week because Jr. Clarence Jackson has been seen out and about in Pocomoke.

Most JR sitings  have been at Walmart where his longtime ‘on again-off again’ or ’special’ relationship girlfriend is employed.

Rumors are running rampant and another local blog continues to allow it’s readers to place anonymous comments blaming Christine, and her family and an investigative journalist that jumped in on the case last summer for all that has gone wrong in this case including but not limited to assumptions and outright vicious opinions of their personal life causing this heinous crime to have happened in the first place .

Joel Todds office remains silent, because he believes that public comment and speculation on the case could jeoprodize it.  Gee, I wonder why?

Everyone aware of the Christine Sheddy Case in Pocomoke is freaking out that this guy walks amongst us.  As Jr. has been reported to be flashing smug smiles of freedom; which only serve to rub salt in the wounds of a community teetering on the proverbial ‘edge’ regarding this case.

This morning   WBOC reported about Jacksons freedom, and now all of the armchair detectives in town are speculating as to why Jr. is running the streets.

Well lets see….

From all inside and outside speculation over the last 2 years Jr. has been implicated in Christine Sheddy’s disappearance.  She was last seen at JR’s and his girlfriend’s rented farmhouse they called home.

Editors Note:

• When the family reports her missing to the local authorities they are told that she is classified as a Missing Person, and they would let them know if they heard anything.
• Mayor / Detective Michael McDermott  told Billy and I we were off base on Christine’s case and that she had simply abandoned her children on the farm and went off on drug binge to Seattle.
• McDermott backed this theory up with having a warrant issued for her arrest for Child Abandonment!
• Additionally to solidify this in his mind and justify this he told Christine’s mother over the phone one day that because she didn’t have a job and no one was expecting her to be anywhere, then she wasn’t really missing.
• McDermott said missing people had bank accounts, credit cards and jobs, that detectives could follow, but she (Christine Sheddy) was a sponge on society so there was really no way to look for her in the usual fashion; which resulted in bringing her mother to tears and justifying his lack of follow up in her case.

God only knows what happens between the two of them and Jr. leaves to go to Tennessee.

While in Tennessee another one of JR’s girlfriends gets evicted for who knows what and he tries to avenge her by burning down the house that she was recently evicted from .

Even though there were numerous fires at the Byrd Road Farm here in Pocomoke that Jackson (allegedly) set and local and surrounding Fire Companies responded to, the Fire Marshall never chose to have him arrested for arson, even when the neighbor of the property told me that she begged them to do so.

One fire in Tennessee nets his arse in County Jail.

After months in the pokey, MD officials pay him a visit in said jail.

Four days later, Christine’s body is surgically removed from the grounds of a local B&B in Snow Hill where it is reported Jr., girlfriend Tia, and Tia’s mother have all worked.

Another few days go by and Jr is prancing down the aisle of the Pocomoke Walmart, scaring all of those who know of his connection in the case and causing great wonder and speculation as to why he is indeed out. (Gee whiz let’s call in some rocket scientists from NASA to help figure that one out)

So Joel Todds office hasn’t ‘officially’ linked Jr. with Christine’s murdered body, but authorities in Tenn. say that he “must fully cooperate with Maryland detectives and DA’s (District Attorney’s) office in murder prosecution.”

This case is far from over, and we must remain vigilant to the end, to assure that justice is served.

Sometimes I wish things were simple.  In a way I have wished that Christine had run off on a drug binge and abandoned her children only because that would mean that she was alive, and as long as there is life there is hope.

But for her childrens sake, I have to wonder if it isn’t better to know that your Mom was brutally ripped from your arms and killed than to think that she willfully abandoned you?

Abandonment by ones mother causes issues that are never healed in the life of a child.  Now at least they can mourn their loss knowing a mothers undying love for them.

UPDATE: SHE WAS FOUND SAFE

On 4 March 2010 at 2:00 PM, the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office initiated a Missing Persons Investigation

involving Teresa Lynn King of Salisbury.
Members of the Sheriff’s Office met with family members of Ms. King who stated that she was last seen at about 07:00 AM on 4 March 2010 when she left for work.
Ms. King has not shown for work nor has she been seen since.
According to family, this is highly unusual for Ms. King.
Ms. King is a white female, 52 YOA and resides in Salisbury.
She was last seen operating a Burgundy 2008 Kia Sorento with MD registration 27387M8.
Anyone who may have information on Ms. King’s whereabouts or has seen her since 7:00 AM this morning, is asked to contact the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office at 410-548-4890.

I can’t help but think if only the police had responded in Christine Sheddy’s case the way that Wicomico County SheriffsOffice is to this timely investigation into the disappearance of Ms. King, then she may well have been with us today.

Child Safety Forums to be Held at Elementary Schools

Elementary schools in the Worcester County Public School System will be hosting child safety forums, organized by the Worcester County Department of Social Services in cooperation with the Worcester County Office of the States Attorney and the Cricket Child Abuse Center.  The purpose of the forums is to present information that will help keep children safe in our community.  The keynote speaker will be States Attorney Joel Todd.

The forums will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Please review schools and dates below:

Regular readers of the Pocomoke Tattler are aware that we have been keeping the public updated with developments on the search for Christine Sheddy, while antagonizing the Keystone Cops who dropped the ball.

Pocomoke Mayor and Worcester County Deputy Mike McDermott at one point had the nerve to tell Christines mother that since she did not have a job nobody was going to miss her and she was a sponge on society.

McDermott told me personally that Christine was a druggie who ran off to Seattle and he had a warrant issued for her arrest, but Mikey did not bother to question the last people known to have seen Christine alive.

Lohr researched newspapers and blog posts for data and here is an interesting quote he used.

“We still don’t know where she is,” Detective Robert Trautman of the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation said in a November 2007 interview with The (Salisbury, Md.) Daily Times. “We’ve expanded our search to Delaware and Virginia.”

Trautman also said he did not suspect any foul play in Sheddy’s disappearance.

The police publicly stated they did not suspect foul play in the case with the Mayor and lead detective telling the mother the murdered mother was “…a sponge on society...” who would not be missed. What do they have to say now that her body has been recovered and officially identified?

Lead Detective Scott Mitchell he was forced to resign for lying to the State’s Attorneys office and tampering with evidence to let the rapist of a 7-year old off the hook.

Why did Mitchell lie about arresting a rapist when he had not?

Did Boss Hogg tell Mitchell to tamper with evidence and lie to the States Attorney and victims relatives?

How many other cases did he tamper with evidence in?

Lynn Dodenhoff kept the pressure on local officials and law enforcement to look for her daughter.  Our sources tell us that she put a lot of pressure to have the case taken away from the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation (McDermott and Mitchell) and it was handed over to the Maryland State Police Cold Case Unit.

A lot transpired in a very short period of time  that led to the recovery of Christines body and arrests in Texas & Maryland of her (alleged?) killers. The motley crew of characters is right out of a Hollywood screenplay with the crime committed in the backyard of the most openly corrupt city government in the State of Maryland.

The bottom line is in less than 2-weeks after the case being taken away from the WCBI a body has been found and identified with arrests made.
